Diary and Notes

Noodles tonight. I was in a bit of a hurry due to working late. It's not all fun, fun, fun, being me.

If you're in a hurry, noodles are always quick and easy, plus kids love them. It doesn't matter what sort you have, they all taste the same - udon, ramen ... (are there any others? I have no idea).

When Isis was young I had two nicknames for her, one was Stinkers, the others was Noodles - "You're a complete noodles" I used to say, meaning she was bonkers. I don't think we ever called her Isis. Once, just after Eve was born and we had to go into the register's office to get Eve officially named, a lady asked Isis (who was about 22 months old at the time) what her name was.

"Stinkers!" Isis replied

"No." I said, "Tell her your real name."

"Noodles."

I won't say what we call her now, but it's usually worse.

So today was a work day and what a day it was. Truly bizarre. A fight almost broke out between two people I quite like and respect, over what seems to me like nothing more than a load of madness in the first place. These people are taking life too seriously. Don't worry - I won't be doing that. It's all an illusion anyway and as far as I can tell neither you, nor I, actually exist.

Noodles - complete and utter noodles the lot of us.

Watch the video, the first 20 seconds are rubbish then it gets good (odd). I just don't understand why all the contestants are European. Don't Japanese people eat noodles? Maybe there's not enough dashi stock for them. Noodles, we are all completely noodles.
